Who We Are

Desert Chapel UMC is more than just a church. We actively reach out into our community. We are the Heart of Apache Junction. Learn more about our people.



Worship and Fellowship

We are a Christian community and we love to worship.

  • Worship Times: Sundays 8:45 to 10:00
  • Fellowship Cafe!: 10:00 to 10:30 - coffee and fellowship
  • Sunday School: 10:30 to 11:30
  • Christmas Eve Worship at 4:00 and 7:00 pm Candlelight Service at both

What We Do

The Desert Chapel UMC community provides many services to individuals and families in Apache Junction including:

  • vocational training
  • parenting classes
  • temporary shelter for displaced families
  • a clothing closet
  • a food pantry
  • a weekly communtiy feed
  • and more.
